This wide Russian doll (also called a Matryoshka doll) is approximately 16 cms high (the largest doll of this set).
This doll contains 7 different nested dolls, each of them has a very different hand painted design.

The largest doll is a old woman with a baby, the second is a old man, the third is a bear, the fourth is a wolf, the fifth is rabbit then a fox and the last one is the baby's head ! This is a very unusual set of Russian dolls.

These would make the ideal gift for a friend's birthday or indeed anyone between the ages of 8 to 80!
